Our Festival

PLATAFORMA BERLIN FESTIVAL was founded by the Colombian BIPoC choreographer, performer, and curator, Martha Hincapié Charry. Plataforma has established itself as a relevant platform for a critical dialogue on decolonialism.

The festival invites Global South and Berliner artists and cultural workers from the diaspora and their home regions to present and exchange their artistic visions and perspectives. It creates a unique space where new and ancestral narratives and discourses emerge, encouraging the Berlin global and local audiences to reflect.

Plataforma Berlin Festival is possible through the valuable partnership and commitment of our co-producers DOCK11 and Barazani and our partners South Embassy and Spore.
